Role Description The Medical Officer is a full-time, on-site role based at Dr Ultimate Hospital in Daman. The Medical Officer will provide direct patient care, including clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, and will support the delivery of health packages and occupational health services. Daily responsibilities include supervising and coordinating with physicians and nursing staff, managing outpatient and inpatient cases, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards. The role may involve assisting with surgical procedures within the scope of competence, conducting medical examinations for industrial employees, and participating in health camps and preventive health programs. The Medical Officer will also contribute to training and mentoring clinical staff, maintaining accurate medical records, and supporting quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications

Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills in Medicine and Patient Care, with the ability to manage common acute and chronic conditions.
- Experience Working with Physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver coordinated care.
- Training and mentoring abilities to guide junior medical staff and support continuous professional development.
- Exposure to or competence in assisting with Surgery within relevant specialties is an advantage.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with valid registration from the appropriate medical council.
- Prior experience in hospital or industrial/occupational health settings is preferred.
- Strong communication, clinical documentation, and decision-making skills.
- Commitment to ethical medical practice, patient safety, and adherence to hospital policies and regulatory standards.
