As a Media Scanning & Research Executive, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and analyzing media content across print, digital, and social platforms to support informed decision-making for campaigns. Your responsibilities will include media scanning, research, analysis, and reporting to provide actionable insights. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to summarize complex information quickly and accurately

What you will do -

Daily Media Monitoring

• Scan Punjab regional newspapers, online news portals, TV channels, and social media for political, social, and government-related news.
• Track news related to party activities, opposition statements, government schemes, local issues, and emerging narratives.
• Capture important headlines, screenshots, video clips, and articles.
  
  

Research & Analysis

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports summarizing media trends in Punjab.
• Analyze media sentiment (positive, negative, neutral) and highlight key concerns or opportunities.
• Identify misinformation, propaganda, or trending issues requiring immediate response.
  
  

Content Compilation

• Maintain an organized database of news articles, TV scan reports, journalist details, and district-wise issue trackers.
• Prepare summaries in English, Hindi, or Punjabi as required.
  
  

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with the state media team, district teams, and the central research team.
• Share real-time updates on important breaking news or urgent political developments.
• Support social media/content teams with fact-based inputs when required.
  
  

Field Insights (if Required)

• Collect ground feedback from local media or district contacts.
• Track local issues, voters' concerns, and political activities across Punjab.

• Good command over Punjabi, Hindi, and English (reading & writing).
• Ability to summarize news accurately and quickly.
