Mechatronics Engineer (6+ years)
Actively Reviewing the ApplicationsRadoratory Technologies
Job Description
We build high-performance medical hardware systems including ultra-fast digital pathology scanners, automated microscopy platforms, and precision sample-handling robotics.
Our machines combine precision mechanics, high-speed motion control, optics, sensors, and embedded systems. Performance depends on excellent engineering.
We are looking for a Senior Mechatronics Engineer who can design and build complex electro-mechanical systems and push them to extremely high performance.
This is a hands-on role — you will design, prototype, debug, and improve real machines.
What You Will Work On
- Precision motion systems and high-speed positioning
- Motors, encoders, sensors, and feedback control
- Integration of mechanics, electronics, and embedded systems
- Diagnosing system-level issues: vibration, resonance, positioning error, thermal drift, electrical noise
- Building and testing prototypes and improving machine performance
What We Expect
- 7+ years building real electro-mechanical systems
- Strong understanding of motion control, sensors, and feedback systems
- Experience integrating motors, drives, encoders, controllers, and mechanical systems
- Ability to debug complex hardware problems across mechanical, electrical, and control domains
- Comfortable working hands-on with hardware, instruments, and prototypes
Strong Bonus
- Precision automation or robotics
- Microscopy or optical systems
- Scientific instruments or medical devices
- High-speed or high-accuracy motion systems
Why Join Us?
- Work on problems that truly matter: every breakthrough here directly impacts patient lives worldwide.
- Ownership from day one—you’re not just an employee, you’re a builder of the company.
- Bleeding-edge R&D: from industrial printers like Formlabs 4L to high precision 5-axis CNC, all available in-house.
- A culture that celebrates intensity, creativity, and craftsmanship.
If you’re among the best, and you know it—send your resume, portfolio and just a note about the hardest thing you’ve ever built to [email protected].
Come help us push the limits of engineering—and healthcare.
We’re not looking for someone to “do the job.” We’re looking for someone who will redefine what’s possible.
