Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Piping Engineer based in Chennai. The role involves designing and reviewing piping systems, conducting stress analysis, performing mechanical calculations, carry out 3D modelling, developing 2D piping layout & Isometric drawings and collaborating with project teams to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with industry standards. The Mechanical Piping Engineer will coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage project timelines, and contribute to the overall technical success of projects.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Mechanical Piping Engineering principles and practices
• Experience with Piping systems and Stress Analysis to ensure system safety and reliability
• Strong skills in performing detailed Calculations for mechanical and piping designs
• Project Management skills to oversee timelines, deliverables, and team collaboration
• Strong understanding of industry standards and design codes related to mechanical and piping engineering for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and related industries.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented approach
• Proficiency in relevant engineering and design software tools such as Cadworx, E3D, PDMS etc.
• Prior experience in industrial or construction projects is a plus
