Job Title: Marketing Manager (Solar Power Solutions)

Location: Pune / Maharashtra (Field-Based Role)

CTC: ₹6 LPA

Industry: Solar Energy (C&I Segment)


Role Overview -

We are seeking a highly driven and result-oriented Marketing Manager with proven experience in the solar industry. This is a field-intensive role focused on lead generation and business development for Commercial & Industrial (C&I) solar projects, including rooftop and ground-mounted solutions.


This position is not a digital marketing role. The candidate must be comfortable with on-ground activities, direct client interaction, and building strong market networks.


Key Responsibilities

  • Generate high-quality leads for C&I solar rooftop and ground-mounted projects through field activities.
  • Conduct door-to-door visits C&I, cold calling, and in-person meetings with potential clients (factories, industries, commercial establishments).
  • Identify decision-makers, present solar solutions, and coordinate with internal teams for proposal closure.
  • Execute targeted outreach campaigns via WhatsApp and email to nurture and convert leads.
  • Represent the company at industry exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events to generate leads and build brand visibility.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage channel partners, dealers, and referral networks to expand business reach.
  • Leverage personal and professional networks to generate business opportunities and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer needs to support business strategy.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in the solar industry, specifically in C&I segment (mandatory)
  • Proven experience in field marketing / business development / sales (not digital marketing)
  • Basic understanding of solar rooftop and ground-mounted systems
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to generate leads independently
  • Excellent networking and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and target-driven
  • Must be willing to travel extensively for fieldwork
  • MBA - Marketing preferred
