Key Responsibilities
- On-field Client Engagement:
- Visit prospective clients, including architects, builders, contractors, and retailers, to promote the company’s tiles and products.
- Build and nurture relationships with customers through regular follow-ups and on-site meetings.
- Address client inquiries and provide product demonstrations to explain features, benefits, and applications.
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market surveys to identify new opportunities, trends, and competitor activities.
- Gather feedback from customers to understand their needs, preferences, and challenges.
- Provide detailed reports on market insights to the marketing and sales teams for strategy refinement.
- Product Promotion and Awareness:
- Distribute marketing materials such as brochures, catalogs, and samples to potential clients.
- Educate customers on new product launches, offers, and promotions to drive interest and sales.
- Sales and Lead Conversion:
- Identify and generate leads in the field, ensuring consistent follow-up to convert them into sales.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with clients to close deals effectively.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of daily visits, client interactions, and sales activities.
- Prepare regular reports on field marketing activities, market trends, and sales performance.
- Use CRM tools or other systems to update client information and track progress.
- Coordination with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with the marketing, sales, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate customer feedback and market requirements to the relevant departments for continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience in field marketing, sales, or business development.
- Knowledge of tiles, their features, and applications is highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and build relationships.
- Strong persuasion and negotiation skills to convert leads into sales.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to understand market trends and client needs.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other reporting tools.
- Organizational skills to manage schedules, client visits, and reporting effectively.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and results-oriented.
- Professional and approachable demeanor to represent the company in the field.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Adaptable and resilient to changing market conditions and client demands.
- Majority of work will be field-based, involving travel to client sites, project locations, and events.
- Flexible working hours, including evenings or weekends, as per client requirements.
