Role Description
We are looking for a Market Research Analyst (4–5 yrs) who can drive insights through primary & secondary research, competitor tracking, customer/market analysis, and reporting. You will help the business take data-backed decisions for product, marketing, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct primary research (surveys, interviews, focus groups) and secondary research (industry reports, databases, online sources)
- Analyze market size, trends, consumer behavior, and demand patterns
- Track competitors: pricing, positioning, product/service updates, marketing activities
- Build structured research reports, dashboards, presentations, and actionable insights
- Support customer segmentation, buyer personas, and target market identification
- Work with cross-functional teams to support go-to-market, pricing, and product strategy
- Convert complex data into clear insights for stakeholders and leadership
- Maintain research documentation and ensure accuracy and data integrity
Required Skills & Tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good command over Excel/Google Sheets and presentations
- Familiarity with tools like Google Forms/Survey tools, Power BI/Tableau (preferred)
- Strong written communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to work independently, manage timelines, and coordinate with teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, or related field
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in market research / consumer insights / business research
Preferred
- Experience in digital businesses, media, FMCG, B2B services (customize as needed)
- Knowledge of basic statistics, sampling, and data interpretation
