Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Job Title: Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Duration: 12-month contract (possible extension)

Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Mon–Fri)

Location: Fairfield, OH

Pay Rate: $45–55/hour (W2)

Overview:

Seeking a junior to mid-level Quality Engineer who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure product and process quality across production sectors
• Implement and maintain Process Control Plans aligned with FMEA
• Lead process audits, FMEAs, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Drive root cause analysis (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone) and containment actions
• Maintain quality documentation and support training
• Act as a subject matter expert for traceability and product quality
• Collaborate with production teams to improve customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related)
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing quality or engineering
• Experience with 8D problem-solving tools
• Six Sigma knowledge/certification preferred
• ESD experience is a plus
• Strong English communication skills
