Job Title: QA Engineer – Manual Testing

Location: Mumbai (Onsite)

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly skilled QA Engineer specializing in Manual Testing. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills and hands-on experience in testing modern web and mobile applications, including real-time features. The role requires a proactive tester who can identify critical edge cases and ensure high-quality product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive manual testing of web and mobile applications
• Design and execute detailed test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements
• Identify, document, and track defects through the complete defect lifecycle
• Conduct API testing and validation using appropriate tools
• Perform edge case testing to ensure application robustness
• Validate real-time features such as chat and calling functionalities
• Execute testing under low network conditions using network simulation tools
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues
• Maintain and update test documentation including test cases, test plans, and RTM
  
  

Mandatory Requirements

• Strong expertise in Edge Case Identification
• Hands-on experience in API Testing & Validation
• Exposure to mobile and web application testing, especially real-time features (chat/calling preferred)
• Experience in low network testing / network simulation
• Solid understanding of STLC, RTM, and defect lifecycle
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Manual Testing
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with API testing tools like Postman, Swagger, etc.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
