Work Hours: India Standard Time (Team Sync-ups in PST)

Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)

Location: 100% Remote - Candidates can work from anywhere in India

Overview

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in automation, API testing, SQL validation, and manual testing. The ideal candidate must have experience working on enterprise applications that process large datasets or operate in Big Data environments.

This role is ideal for someone who has worked in large-scale organizations supporting data-intensive applications and can build reliable automation solutions while ensuring high software quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for enterprise applications.
• Develop and maintain UI and API automation frameworks using Java and/or Python.
• Validate APIs, backend services, databases, and large datasets.
• Perform SQL-based data validation and verify complex data flows.
• Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, and QA teams throughout the SDLC.
• Execute regression, integration, functional, and end-to-end testing.
• Contribute to automation best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support release validation and production readiness activities.

Required Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in both manual and automation testing.
• Strong experience developing automation using Java and/or Python.
• Hands-on experience with UI automation frameworks such as Selenium, TestComplete, or Protractor.
• Strong API testing experience using Rest Assured, Postman, ReadyAPI, SoapUI, or similar tools.
• Strong SQL skills for backend validation and data verification.
• Experience working with enterprise applications processing large datasets or within Big Data environments.
• Experience validating complex data flows and ETL processes.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and QA best practices.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
