Role Overview:
We are hiring a Manual Tester with 1-2 years of experience to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a passion for quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on requirements and functional specifications
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and resolve issues
- Prepare and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports
- Validate UI/UX across web and mobile applications
- Participate in sprint meetings and provide QA inputs during the development cycle
- Ensure timely delivery of quality software by meeting project deadlines
Required Skills:
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing
- Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases and test scripts
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or similar
- Good understanding of web and mobile application testing
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman is a plus
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- ISTQB certification is an added advantage
What We Offer:
- Salary range: INR 15,000 - 30,000 per month (based on experience)
