Manager - Operations / Consumer Electronics Distribution – USA/Remote
Reporting to: C-Level Executive / CEO
Location: Chennai ( USA Shift Timings ) - Hybrid
Role Type: Mid-Level | Leadership
Compensation : 10 - 14 LPA
About Our Client :
Our Client is primarily a consumer electronics distributor and wholesale supplier in USA | Europe|Middle East & Canada. Their business focuses on sourcing, distributing, and supplying electronic products to retailers and resellers globally.
Role Purpose:
We are hiring a hands-on Operations Manager to act as the execution engine of the CEO.
The Ops Manager will be responsible for fixing operational inefficiencies, building financial and performance reporting, enforcing accountability across teams, and ensuring initiatives are completed end-to-end.
This is not a strategy-only role. Success in this role is measured by execution, predictability, and results.
Key Responsibilities (First 6–9 Months) and thereafter it will be BAU
- Establish executive reporting process to track key milestones of the organization enabling CEO to make forward decisions.
- Work with Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain Teams to ensure supply meets the demand and introduce flagging system to keep all key stakeholders on top. ( Stakeholders : Finance Head, Sales, Supply Chain Team and the CEO )
- Use existing tools and available tools in market to prepare sharp dashboard basis which stakeholders can make key decisions.
- Projects tracked, owned, and completed without C-Level / CEO intervention
- Sales performance tracked with clear targets and accountability
- Definite KPIs and SLAs to all departments which can be tracked and reported to CEO
Core Responsibilities
Execution & Operations
- Own day-to-day operations across all business units
- Translate CEO priorities into executable plans with owners and deadlines
- Track initiatives from start to completion and eliminate execution drift
- Implement weekly leadership reviews and escalation mechanisms
Finance & Reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting across operations and finance
- Improve visibility into cash flow, AR/AP, inventory, margins, and forecasts
- Partner with finance/bookkeeping teams to strengthen controls and reporting
- Create dashboards to support CEO and leadership decision-making
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 10–18 years of experience in operations or general management roles
- SELF DRIVEN / Extremely Pro-Active Leader / ability to engage across geographies and teams and bring them together on singular objectives & goals.
- Proven ability to build structure, reporting, and discipline from scratch
- Exposure to operations, finance coordination, and sales execution
- Comfortable holding teams accountable and driving tough conversations
- Highly organized, decisive, execution-oriented
First 90 Days Success Indicators
- Clear diagnostic of operational and reporting gaps
- Weekly execution cadence established
- Core financial and performance dashboards launched
- KPIs and ownership defined across functions
Qualificiation & Criteria
- Should have worked in a process related to retain USA retail and distribution
- Should have 8-10 Years of work experience in similar industries.
- willing to work remotely in USA shift.
- MUST HAVE EXCELLENT ENGLISH COMMUNICATION ( BOTH VERBAL & WRITTEN)
- Must have expereince in working with top management and presenting dashboards
- KPIs and ownership expereince is a must
