Job Description

  • The ideal candidate should have strong leadership and technical skills and experience in a manufacturing environment.
    • Meeting the Production plan and machine utilization as per requirement from Planning
    • CNC machining knowledge & Assembly knowledge
    • Knowledge of production planning.
    • Knowledge on Modern Manufacturing techniques.
    • Knowledge on Problem solving techniques.
    • Knowledge on Six sigma is an added advantage
    • Knowledge on TPM
    • People Management Skills
    • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the CNC Machine Shop and Assembly departments
    • Ensure that production schedules are met and products are manufactured to the required specifications
    • Manage the resources, including manpower, machines, and materials, required for production
    • Develop and implement processes, procedures & man power to improve efficiency and quality.
    • Monitor and maintain the performance of the CNC machines and assembly equipment
    • Identify and resolve any production issues or bottlenecks that may arise
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
    • Collaborate with other departments, such as Engineering and Quality Assurance, to achieve overall company objectives.
    • Ensure proper 5s in the shop floor and create the 5s culture in the shop floor.
    • Effectively control & Monitor the Work in progress Inventory level.
    • Create Continuous Improvement culture in the shop floor.
    • Create the culture of structured problem solving techniques among the supervisor levels.
    • Create Quality circle concepts among the operator level and make operators to understand MY MACHINE Concept.
    • Periodically plot Skill matrix and train the people accordingly.
  • Qualification : BE Mechanical engineering Experience : 15 to 20 years of experience in CNC machine shop / Assembly Shop
    • Strong leadership and managerial skills
    • Technical proficiency in CNC machines and assembly
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
