Role Overview

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day logistics operations, coordinating with 3PL partners, resolving shipment issues, reducing RTO, and ensuring smooth order fulfillment across all serviceable regions. The role demands strong operational control, analytical thinking, and proactive problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Operations Management

• Oversee end-to-end order fulfillment cycle (order processing to delivery).
• Monitor daily dispatch, transit, and delivery performance.
• Ensure SLA adherence across all courier partners.
• Track NDR, RTO, reattempts, and escalations.

3PL & Courier Partner Coordination

• Act as primary SPOC for 3PL and courier partners.
• Manage performance reviews and escalation handling.
• Negotiate rates, service improvements, and coverage expansion.
• Monitor first-mile pickups from vendors and last-mile delivery performance.

Issue Resolution & Escalations

• Resolve stuck shipments, lost parcels, delay cases, and damage claims.
• Work closely with customer support and vendor teams for quick closures.
• Drive root cause analysis for repeated delivery failures.
• Implement preventive action plans.

Reverse Logistics & RTO Control

• Monitor RTO trends and implement reduction strategies.
• Improve COD confirmation and address verification processes.
• Optimize reattempt workflows.
• Ensure timely reverse pickups and reconciliation.

Performance & Reporting

• Prepare daily/weekly MIS reports on:
• Dispatch rate
• Delivery TAT
• RTO%
• NDR%
• Courier-wise performance
• Analyze data and recommend operational improvements.

Process Optimization

• Streamline logistics SOPs.
• Work with tech team on automation improvements.
• Improve cost per shipment without compromising SLA.
• Identify opportunities for multi-courier routing optimization.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in logistics operations, supply chain, or e-commerce fulfilment.
• Prior experience working in a startup, high-growth company, or rapidly scaling business is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with shipping aggregators and logistics tech platforms.
