Job Description
We are looking to hire a skilled backend developer to join a team responsible for the development and maintenance of backend services. Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining server-side components of our cloud-based applications using Java technology for event driven architecture using KafkaCollaborating with the customer, the business analyst and product owner to understand the requirements. Being a part of scrum team, collaborate with fellow technical owners and Architects to design and implement cost-effective cloud-based solutions. Ensuring modular and flexible designs, in line with commonly used industry design patterns that meet the functional and non-functional requirements. Communicating any risk/issue that might impact the solution, cost or timing and proposing mitigation actions. Participating in the execution of design, unit testing & innovation research. Maintaining relationships and consultations with various teams to ensure coherence between applications of different domains. Experience working with the complexities around event driven architecture. Actively seeking the latest technical evolutions to leverage continuous technological improvements.
- 10–14 years of experience (as you mentioned earlier)
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka (producers/consumers/brokers), and Kafka architecture/design patterns
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Familiarity with tools like Kafka Streams, ksqlDB, Confluent Platform, Prometheus/Grafana, etc
