Manager – Design and Engineering

Position Summary

The position requires Tower Design Engineer for Transmission Towers, responsible to design/review Tower design, foundation design, structural drawings.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• Develop and modify designs for transmission line towers/poles, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Perform structural analysis using software tools (e.g., PLS Tower) to assess load conditions and material requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure design integration with overall project objectives.
• Attend project meetings to provide technical expertise and updates on design progress.
• Prepare detailed design documents, including calculations, specifications, and design reports.
• Maintain accurate records of design revisions and updates.
• Conduct reviews and inspections of design work to ensure quality and adherence to industry standards.
• Provide technical support during the construction phase, addressing any design-related issues that arise.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in transmission line design.
  
  

Contribute to the development of innovative design solutions and methodologies.

Critical Success Factors - Essential

• B.E. / B. Tech Civil
• 6-10 years of experience in working with Tower Design including PLS Tower.
• Proficiency in IT tools/ software

• Experience in tower design software.
• Thorough knowledge of Indian Transmission line standards
