Manager Business IT (DEB)

Job Requirements

Job Purpose: The IT Manager is responsible for end-to-end delivery & operations management of all IT Services for the assigned business. The role ensures alignment of IT initiatives with business goals, drives efficiency through technology, ensures system reliability, and acts as the single point of accountability for all IT needs of the business.

Job Responsibilities

Ø Act as a strategic link between business CEO / Functional Heads, Central IT COEs (IT Infra, Cybersecurity, SAP, Digital & AI) and External Partners.

Ø Understand business priorities (Genset & Solar Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales & Service etc.) and drive IT demand management, system improvement and system automation in alignment with business prioritization.

Ø Manage IT support for new solution rollouts, drive adoption and provide continuous service & support.

Ø Oversee progress of IT initiatives, new plant setups, project sites, and business expansions and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and with defined business outcomes.

Ø Organize scheduled progress reviews, track deliveries, risks & dependencies and ensure escalations in case of deviation against agreed timelines & cost.

Ø Ensure compliance with information security policies and cyber regulatory requirements. Implement security controls for network, endpoint, user access and data protection.

Ø Manage IT SLAs for business user support, system/connectivity uptime & performance, IT incidents, system change control, documentation and user satisfaction score.

Ø Support evaluation & onboarding of new IT partners, manage relationship and periodically review SLA to ensure delivery quality & contract adherence.

Ø Ensure adherence to central IT policies, guidelines & standard operating procedures..

Ø Support internal & external IT audits and track resolution of all observations.

Ø Plan and manage IT budget for the business and optimize costs.

Ø Lead and manage IT resources aligned to the business unit.

Ø Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.

Work Experience

Technical & Functional Skills:

Ø BE / BTech (IT/CS/Electronics) or equivalent

Ø 8-10 years in business-facing IT role in Genset or Solar industry with at least 3 years as independent IT Manager for a business unit.

Ø Strong experience in IT infrastructure (endpoint, cloud, network) and Cybersecurity practices.

Ø Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, Automotive Manufacturing & CRM and Microsoft M365 Copilot.

Ø Strong skills in communication and stakeholder management.

Ø Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced and project-driven environment.
