About The Team And The Role

eBay’s Global Finance Shared Services is looking for an Off-Platform Billing Manager (L25). Reporting to the Director of P2P, Off-Platform Billing & Analytics, you will lead the internal team responsible for the execution, accuracy, and support of eBay’s global off-platform billing workflows.

In this role, you will manage two direct reports and provide critical governance for our third-party partner’s delivery of invoicing services. Your mission is to maintain revenue integrity ($156M+ annually) while scaling our billing operations to support new business growth.

What You Will Accomplish

• Billing Governance: Oversee the third-party partner team to ensure the accurate delivery of 14,400+ annual invoices and global billing services.
• M&A Support & Onboarding: Support the onboarding of M&A portfolios, assisting with the integration of new business entities into eBay’s billing processes and SAP environment.
• Operational Excellence: Own the end-to-end lifecycle of off-platform billing, ensuring all activities meet eBay’s strict quality and internal performance standards.
• Performance Analytics: Leverage operational data (AR aging, cycle times, error rates) to build performance narratives and dashboards for senior leadership.
• SAP & Process Strategy: Act as the SAP AR subject matter expert to standardize billing workflows and implement automation that reduces manual touchpoints.
• Global Compliance: Partner with US/EMEA stakeholders to align billing operations with SOX controls and regional requirements.
  
  
  

What You Will Bring

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting. CA, ICWA, or MBA (Finance).
• Experience: 6–8+ years in Financial Ops (AR/Billing) with 2+ years of people management experience.
• Expertise: Solid experience in BPO/Vendor Governance and a background in high-volume billing operations.
• Technical Edge: Functional proficiency in SAP ECC (AR/SD) and strong data skills (Excel; Tableau/Power BI).
• Location: Based in Bengaluru, with a requirement to work onsite 3 days/week and provide occasional flexible hours to coordinate with global teams.
• Availability: As we are rapidly scaling this global hub, immediate availability or a 30-day notice period is required to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities.
