MIS Executive – Data & Payment Operations

Role Summary

NxtWave is hiring an MIS Executive – Data & Payment Operations to own payment calculations, reconciliations, and MIS reporting end-to-end.

This is a pure operations role with a strong focus on accuracy, closures, and compliance-ready data. The role supports external statutory/partner reporting through structured submissions under manager guidance.

Core Responsibilities

• Own daily/weekly/monthly data reportings, reconciliation of payments & consolidations.
• Calculate payments, commissions, and settlements with high accuracy.
• Consolidate data from multiple internal/external sources into clean reports.
• Perform reconciliations across systems, partner data, and payment records.
• Track pending items, mismatches, and closures; maintain resolution logs.
• Act as the MIS POC for external statutory/partner reporting (execution only).
• Maintain version control, audit trails, and documentation hygiene.
• Prepare concise summaries for partners, internal finance and leadership teams.

What This Role Is NOT

• Not FP&A, budgeting, or forecasting
• Not accounting/statutory filings
• Not business analysis or strategy
• Not partner relations or policy discussions
• Not independent decision-making or escalation ownership
• (All approvals and escalations sit with managers.)

Ideal Profile

• 2 - 3.5 years in MIS / Payments Ops / Heavy Data handlings roles/ Reconciliation-heavy roles.
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets (pivots, lookups, validations; accuracy first).
• Comfortable with large datasets and tight timelines.
• Strong numerical accuracy, calm, process-driven mindset.
• Startup-ready execution style.

Good to Have

• EdTech, BFSI, FinTech, Sales Ops experience.
• Experience working in the Public–Private Partnership company in an MIS role.
