Machine Learning Engineer - Cancer AI | Fully Remote | $150k–$170k + Equity

I'm working with a confidential client on an exciting and genuinely impactful ML Engineer opportunity in the cancer AI space.

The company has developed an FDA-cleared multimodal AI test for personalised cancer treatment, and it works. The mission now is to push their 3rd generation foundation model from great to near-perfect, improving robustness and generalisation across diverse patient populations.

This is a research AND engineering role. The whole team codes, and codes well.

What you'll be working on:

• Self-supervised learning models for digital pathology and whole-slide image analysis
• Multimodal model development combining imaging, clinical, and molecular data
• End-to-end model development from training through to production deployment
• Contributing to scientific publications alongside the broader research team

What they're looking for:

• Strong background in self-supervised learning - DINO, DINOv2, MoCo, SimCLR or similar
• 2+ years of industry experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow in production environments
• Computer vision and medical imaging experience a significant advantage
• US work authorisation required - no visa sponsorship available

The package:

• $150,000–$170,000 base salary
• Equity as a core component
• 401k matching
• Unlimited PTO
• Fully remote
