Girias Hilltop Stones and Girias Colors of Rainbow is a multinational home improvement manufacturer and distributor specializing in high-quality, beautifully colored natural and engineered stones, including Granite, Marble, Quartz, Semi-precious, and Porcelain. The company supplies stone products to wholesalers, retailers, builders, interior designers, contractors, fabricators, and end-users.
We are looking for an experienced Logistics & Import-Export Manager to lead our domestic and international logistics operations.

📍 Location: Bangalore (Full-Time, In-Office)
As our Logistics & Import-Export Manager, you will be responsible for managing the complete logistics lifecycle—from supplier dispatch to final delivery. You will coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, transporters, warehouses, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
This role is critical to maintaining our supply chain and supporting both our domestic and international operations.
- Manage end-to-end export shipments by sea, air, and road.
- Coordinate bookings with shipping lines and freight forwarders.
- Plan container movements and ensure timely dispatch.
- Monitor shipment schedules and proactively resolve delays.
- Track shipments from origin to destination.
- Coordinate with overseas customers, suppliers, and agents.
- Handle import shipments from multiple countries.
- Coordinate with customs brokers and clearing agents.
- Ensure smooth customs clearance with minimal delays.
- Verify import documentation and compliance requirements.
- Calculate landed costs, duties, taxes, and other import charges.
Prepare, verify, and manage logistics documentation, including:
- Commercial Invoices
- Packing Lists
- Bills of Lading
- Shipping Bills
- Certificates of Origin
- E-Way Bills
- Delivery Orders
- Insurance Documents
- Export & Import Compliance Documents
- LC (Letter of Credit) documentation (preferred)
- Bank negotiation documents (preferred)
- Coordinate transportation across India.
- Plan truck movements from factories and warehouses.
- Optimize transportation costs and delivery schedules.
- Manage transporter relationships and rate negotiations.
- Ensure timely deliveries to dealers, distributors, and project sites.
- Coordinate with CHA (Custom House Agents).
- Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, GST, and other statutory requirements.
- Monitor changes in import/export regulations.
- Maintain accurate shipping and compliance records.
- Negotiate competitive freight rates with shipping lines and transporters.
- Develop relationships with logistics partners.
- Evaluate freight costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor freight invoices and reconcile logistics expenses.
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, procurement, and sales teams.
- Plan dispatch schedules based on production timelines.
- Monitor container availability and shipping deadlines.
- Ensure accurate inventory movement records.
- Prepare logistics MIS reports.
- Track freight costs and shipping performance.
- Monitor delivery timelines and KPIs.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, import-export, shipping, or supply chain.
- Experience handling international freight and customs documentation is mandatory.
- Experience in the stone, ceramic, building materials, manufacturing, or industrial sectors is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, Commerce, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in logistics or supply chain are an advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of international shipping procedures.
- Strong understanding of customs regulations and documentation.
- Knowledge of Incoterms (FOB, CIF, EXW, DDP, etc.).
- Experience working with freight forwarders and shipping lines.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet shipment deadlines.
