Legal Specialist

SVAX is seeking a highly skilled Legal Specialist to join our growing team and support the company’s day-to-day legal operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong English and Arabic drafting skills, and a passion for navigating complex commercial and regulatory environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements (contracts, amendments, LOIs, term sheets, and legal correspondence) in English and Arabic, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company interests.
• Analyze contractual risks (liability, indemnity, confidentiality, IP, termination, dispute resolution, etc.) and provide practical, business-oriented solutions.
• Provide timely legal support to internal teams on contractual, regulatory, and governance matters.
• Maintain strong knowledge of Saudi Companies Law and relevant commercial regulations to ensure compliance in all legal documents and processes.
• Support dispute-related matters, including drafting arbitration clauses and reviewing cross-border contract provisions.
• Manage contract records, archiving, version control, and contract registers for accurate tracking and accessibility.
• Oversee the full contract lifecycle: drafting, approvals, signature, storage, renewals, expirations, and post-signature obligations.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel and prepare required summaries and documentation.
• Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments and contribute to enhancing legal templates and internal processes.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong drafting and review skills in English and Arabic (English is essential).
• Solid understanding of Saudi Companies Law, commercial regulations, and Commercial Court procedures.
• Knowledge of international arbitration concepts and dispute resolution mechanisms.
• High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Proven ability to adapt quickly, learn new areas, and communicate effectively with non-legal stakeholders.
