Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Legal Advisory: Provide legal advice and support to the management team on a wide range of matters including corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory issues pertinent to the University and Medical College.
Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements including supply agreements, licensing agreements, and partnership contracts to ensure the organization interests are protected.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Stay updated with changes in legislation and assess their impact on the organization.
Litigation Strategy Development: Formulating and executing strategic plans for managing and resolving litigation matters, including commercial disputes, intellectual property issues, and regulatory challenges.
Case Management: Leading the preparation and oversight of legal actions, from initial claim assessments and discovery to trial and settlement negotiations.
Dispute Resolution: Handle legal disputes and litigation, including managing external legal cases and developing strategies to resolve issues effectively.
Risk Management: Identify legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Advise on risk management and implement best practices.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of legal documents and contracts. Prepare legal reports and summaries for senior management.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in law from a reputable university or law college.
- 8+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a University & Medical College.
- Being a Qualified CS is an added advantage
Salary-10.00 to 13.00 lacs PA
