Job Description
Job Purpose
Provide legal support to the Legal Department by drafting and reviewing contracts and legal litigation , ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and contributing to the protection of the company’s legal interests and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and prepare legal contracts and agreements in line with company policies and regulations.
- Handle litigation cases and claims, including preparing case documents, coordinating with external lawyers, and following up on court procedures.
- Monitor contract validity and coordinate renewals or amendments when necessary.
- Provide preliminary legal advice to various departments regarding laws, regulations, and litigation matters.
- Respond to internal legal inquiries in coordination with the department head.
- Conduct legal research and analyze laws, regulations, and judicial precedents relevant to the company’s operations.
- Stay updated on legislative and judicial developments and recommend necessary amendments.
- Prepare documentation and legal files related to disputes, complaints, and claims.
- Coordinate with external law firms and government entities when required.
- Ensure all departments comply with applicable laws, regulations, and court decisions.
- Assist in developing and updating legal and litigation policies and procedures.
- Prepare periodic reports on contracts, cases, litigation status, and legal risks.
- Maintain organized and confidential legal records and documentation.
- Perform other related duties consistent with the department’s objectives.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law.
- Certificate: SASL is a plus.
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in a legal role, preferably within a corporate.
- Language: Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
Key Competencies
- In-depth knowledge of local laws and regulations (e.g., labor law, contracts, governance, corporate law, and litigation procedures).
- Strong legal drafting, analytical, and litigation management skills.
- Proficiency in computer and Microsoft Office applications, and legal systems.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
