Are you ready to lead the future Lean Gas Service program and have a passion for excellence? Join our EQS Operational Excellence Gas Services team as a “Lean Expert ” and become the driving force behind our Lean@GS program. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to implement Lean principles, train employees, and ensure sustainable improvements. Develop and implement Lean strategies to improve operational efficiency. Conduct process assessments to find opportunities for improvement.
How You’ll Make An Impact
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.

How You’ll Make An Impact
- Lead the Lean Transformation: continuously develop further and implement the Lean@GS program tailored to our gas service operations, develop the roll out plan ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Anticipate challenges, guide teams, encourage shared vision, employ critical thinking, align with goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of Lean thinking, ensuring buy-in and drive the implementation of Lean@GS throughout Gas Service.
- Community Building: Grow and overlook communities of practice to facilitate knowledge exchange and collaboration among teams, enhancing the effectiveness of the Lean program.
- Coaching and Mentoring: Provide hands-on coaching to teams at all levels, empowering them to adopt Lean principles and practices effectively.
- Facilitate Workshops: Organize and lead workshops and training sessions to educate employees on Lean methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) / key behavior indicators (KBIs) to measure the success of the Lean@GS program and report on progress to leadership.
- Approx. 5 to 10 years proven experience in Lean Methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) with a track record of successful implementation in an operational environment. Automotive experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging collaborators at all levels.
- Very strong English Language skills. Must be able to communicate with top management
- Strong leadership skills and experience handling senior management to develop a buy-in.
- Coaching Skills: Strong ability to mentor and develop individuals and teams, fostering a growth mindset and encouraging continuous learning and improvement.
- Analytical approach with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Expert, Six Sigma Black Belt) are a plus.
