To facilitate this expansion, the company seeks to hire a senior leader capable of establishing and leading the construction chemicals division from the ground up.
Role Overview
We are in search of a seasoned and entrepreneurial Vice President - Construction Chemicals to establish and develop the company's construction chemicals division.
This role represents a high-impact leadership position with full P&L responsibility, where the selected candidate will be tasked with creating the business from the ground up, building distribution networks, and driving market growth.
The initial focus of this role will be on West India, with plans to expand operations across India.
The organization is particularly interested in a professional who can oversee this division akin to a business partner and take charge of both revenue enhancement and operational excellence.
70% of the responsibilities will be centered around sales, market development, and revenue generation, while the remaining 30% will focus on operations, team development, and HR leadership to establish a scalable and high-performing business unit.

Business Strategy & Growth
- Formulate and implement the comprehensive business strategy for the construction chemicals division
- Establish the business from the ground up, including strategies for market entry, product positioning, and execution of go-to-market plans
- Pinpoint high-potential market segments, regions, and applications within the construction sector
- Drive significant revenue growth while ensuring strong profitability
- Assume complete responsibility for the division's Profit & Loss (P&L)
- Create annual and long-term business plans, budgets, and growth forecasts
- Track key financial metrics, including revenue, margins, operating costs, and ROI
- Develop and enhance a comprehensive sales network initially throughout West India
- Identify and establish partnerships with distributors, dealers, and channel partners
- Forge strong relationships with:
- Contractors
- Builders & Developers
- Infrastructure companies
- Architects & Consultants
- Government and institutional clients
- Design and execute effective distribution and channel strategies
- Grow dealer and distributor networks to ensure strong market penetration
- Develop institutional sales and project-based business
- Assemble and lead a high-performing sales, technical, and support team
- Hire, mentor, and manage regional sales leaders and key business development professionals
- Establish robust operational frameworks, performance systems, and HR practices to sustain business growth
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor actions, and customer requirements
- Collaborate closely with product and leadership teams to ensure market-aligned offerings
- Identify opportunities for new product launches and strategic growth
- Develop lasting relationships with large institutional clients and strategic accounts
- Lead high-stakes negotiations and partnerships
- Represent the company in industry forums, trade exhibitions, and key client interactions
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset capable of building businesses from the ground up
- Thorough knowledge of the construction chemicals industry
- Demonstrated expertise in distribution and project sales models
- Extensive network with contractors, builders, developers, and infrastructure firms
- Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities
- Strategic mindset coupled with strong execution capabilities
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
- Aptitude for driving large-scale business expansion across different regions
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Civil Engineering / Chemistry / Related Field
- MBA or similar management qualification preferred
- 15+ years of experience in the construction chemicals, building materials, or related sectors
- At least 5+ years in a senior leadership role with business responsibilities
- Proven track record in scaling sales operations and managing P&L
