The Role: As a Lead UI/UX Designer - II at LightFury, you will be responsible for designing intuitive and engaging user interfaces and experiences for our AAA games. You will work closely with the design team, artists, and developers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall gaming experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop intuitive and engaging user interfaces for our AAA games.
• Collaborate with the design team to create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups that effectively communicate design ideas and concepts.
• Work with artists and developers to implement UI designs that meet the project's artistic and technical requirements.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and improve the user experience.
• Develop and maintain UI style guides and design documentation.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure that UI designs meet the needs of the game and are delivered on time.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in UI/UX design and game development.
  
  

UI/UX Design Expertise

• Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles, including user-centered design, interaction design, and visual design.
• Proficiency in design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or InVision.
• Experience with prototyping tools, such as Axure, Marvel, or Proto.io.
• Familiarity with game engines, such as Unreal Engine or Unity.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in UI/UX design or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design work.
  
  

Desirable Skills

• Experience with motion graphics and animation.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices.
• Experience with game development pipelines and tools, such as Perforce and Git.
