Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance backend systems using Python.
Architect and implement RESTful APIs and microservices using Django and FastAPI.
Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring to junior developers.
Collaborate with product managers, frontend teams, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Design, deploy, and maintain applications on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.).
Ensure application security, performance optimization, and best coding practices.
Drive adoption of modern development practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and cloud-native architectures.
Contribute to Generative AI initiatives, including integrating LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI-powered APIs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

8+ years of hands-on experience in Python development.
Strong expertise in Django and FastAPI frameworks.
Experience in designing RESTful APIs and backend services.
Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and ORM concepts.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Good to Have

Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS).
Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs (OpenAI, Bedrock, Hugging Face), or AI/ML integrations.
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
Experience with message queues, caching (Redis), and asynchronous processing.
