Title - Lead Civil

Location - Jamnagar, Gujarat

Purpose of Role:

To lead and oversee all civil and structural works for the AI/Data Centre project, ensuring the development of high-performance, resilient, and sustainable infrastructure to support advanced computing environments. The Lead Civil is responsible for the safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of civil works in compliance with Data Center design standards, project specifications, and industry best practices. The role provides technical leadership and coordination across design, construction, and commissioning phases, ensuring seamless integration of civil systems with mechanical and electrical infrastructure critical to AI/Data Centre operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the planning, design review, and execution of civil and structural works specific to data centre infrastructure (e.g., foundations, superstructures, drainage, and external works).

2. Coordinate with architectural, mechanical and electrical teams to ensure alignment of civil works with data centre layouts, equipment loads, and cooling system requirements.

3. Review design drawings, specifications, and method statements to ensure compliance with data centre standards and local regulations.

4. Supervise and monitor construction activities, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.

5. Implement robust QA/QC procedures to maintain high construction precision and reliability suited to mission-critical environments.

6. Ensure civil works integrate seamlessly with underground utilities, cable routes, and site access for data centre operations and maintenance.

7. Manage contractors and subcontractors, providing clear direction, technical oversight, and performance evaluations.

8. Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules, proactively identifying and mitigating risks or delays.

9. Support value engineering, sustainability, and energy efficiency initiatives in civil design and execution.
