Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Business Analyst as part of the IDD Market Data with strong technical expertise and deep knowledge of Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETDs) and global exchange products. The ideal candidate will lead data quality initiatives, design scalable workflows, and drive automation and analytical excellence across commodities and equity derivatives.

The role focuses on establishing strong data management frameworks, ensuring high‑quality and reliable data delivery, and enabling seamless data flow across the organization. The position works closely with internal stakeholders, data vendors, and technology teams to support business, operational, and product needs.

Responsibilities

Own end to end market data for Commodities and Equities derivatives, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
Design and implement scalable workflows, validation rules, and automation processes.
Build and maintain SQL and Python based data pipelines, dashboards, and monitoring tools.
Develop automated solutions to streamline data processing while applying robust data cleansing, validation, and quality‑control techniques supported by statistical and analytical methods
Investigate and resolve complex data quality issues related to contract specs, expiries, trading calendars, and pricing data.
Partner with Product, R&D, Engineering, and Operations on requirements and enhancements.
Manage relationships with exchanges and data vendors to ensure accurate, timely data ingestion.
Provide subject matter expertise on ETD markets, exchange rules, and product structures.
Apply data cleansing, validation, and quality control techniques, including statistical and analytical methods
Support user training and adoption of market data tools and platforms when required.

Knowledge And Experience

BA/BSc in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Financial Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. MBA/MA/CFA/FRM – advantage.
5+ years of experience in market data, analytics, business analysis, or BI roles (seniority dependent).
Proven experience in the financial services industry, preferably covering derivatives markets.
Strong working knowledge of Exchange Traded Derivatives and global exchange products is a plus
Advanced SQL proficiency for querying and optimizing large datasets.
Strong Python skills for automation, analytics, and data validation.
Experience with BI/visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Kibana).
Solid understanding of market data content types (pricing, real time, reference, derived).
Experience with APIs, data integration, and data distribution systems.
Strong analytical and quantitative problem‑solving skills, with an understanding of data quality and statistical concepts. High attention to detail and strong data validation discipline.
Ability to work effectively in a global, fast paced Agile environment.
Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Effective multitasking ability with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
