Position Overview & Responsibilities
The OMRF Research Café offers a convenient and welcoming space for employees and visitors to enjoy meals, snacks, and drinks throughout the workday. We’re looking for a team player who thrives in a fast-paced collaborative environment, brings a friendly and customer-focused attitude, and takes pride in being efficient, reliable, and detail-oriented.
Responsibilities May Include, But Are Not Limited To
Typically 30 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9AM-3PM, with occasional additional hours for events (advance notice provided).
Work Conditions
Some lifting (up to 50 lbs.) will be required, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities May Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Preparing hot and cold food, quickly and efficiently handling the grill and charbroiled station.
- Performing detail and general cleaning.
- Setting up and breaking down events held on-site.
- Caring for and maintaining non-food inventory, supplies, and equipment.
- Stocking supplies, running the cash register, and washing dishes.
- Assisting with menu planning, including daily and weekly specials.
- Maintaining a welcoming and customer service-oriented attitude toward customers.
- Other tasks assigned by supervisor.
- Basic knowledge of food handling and kitchen skills.
- Strong time management and customer service skills.
- Organized, multitasker, follows directions, shows initiative, and works independently.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers and customers.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
- A valid OKC Certified Food Service Operator Certificate is a plus.
- 2 years of back-of-house or kitchen experience.
