Job Description

Role Overview

The Account Manager (AM) will serve as the primary relationship owner for colleges enrolled in the CodeChef College Program. The AM acts as the strategic bridge between the college and CodeChef’s internal teams, ensuring seamless onboarding, smooth program execution, stakeholder engagement, revenue scale-up, and long-term retention.


This is a high-ownership, high-accountability role requiring strong coordination skills, stakeholder management, execution rigor, and the ability to drive outcomes both externally and internally. Note on Travel: This role requires being on the move. Expect to spend 60-70% of your time traveling to college.



Key Responsibilities

1. Sales closure & Onboarding

  • Join the final stage meetings led by the BD team to support deal closure.
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders (HODs, faculty members, management).
  • Ensure smooth onboarding post conversion - Ensure course creation aligned to the syllabus and delivered within committed timelines.


2. Program Execution and Monitoring

  • Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for the college - Own all client communication (Email & WhatsApp).
  • Ensure weekly reports are sent to the college on time.
  • Monitor timely execution of assessments by the support team.
  • Identify gaps (e.g., low student completion, inactive faculty monitoring) and take corrective actions.
  • Escalate to senior college stakeholders (Owner/Vice Chancellor) when necessary to ensure compliance and progress.


3. Revenue Retention and explansion

  • If adoption begins at partial capacity (e.g., 25% student enrollment), collaborate with BD to scale to 100% revenue potential.
  • Build strong institutional relationships to ensure program success and expansion. Conduct periodic meetings with Owner / VCs, HODs.
  • Own renewal and retention of assigned colleges.



Educational Qualifications and Work Experience

  • Education: B.Tech in Computer Science/IT is mandatory. You must understand the technical nuances of a coding curriculum.
  • Experience: 1–3 years in Enterprise SaaS Ed-Tech (B2B/Institutional Sales) Account Management
