Role Overview
We are looking for a driven and client-focused Key Account Manager to join our growing team. This role involves a mix of new business development and managing existing client relationships. The ideal candidate should be confident in client interactions, strong in sales conversion, and capable of building long-term partnerships that drive repeat business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify and reach out to potential corporate clients (HR, Marketing, Admin teams)
- Generate leads through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, referrals, and networking
- Build and maintain a strong and consistent sales pipeline
2. Client Interaction & Sales Conversion
- Understand client requirements and recommend relevant gifting and merchandise solutions
- Present ideas, create proposals, and conduct product pitches
- Handle negotiations and successfully close deals
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
3. Relationship Building & Account Growth
- Develop strong, long-term relationships to drive repeat business
- Maintain regular follow-ups and ongoing client engagement
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
- Maximize revenue from existing accounts by understanding evolving client needs
- Ensure a seamless client experience from initial inquiry to final delivery
4. Coordination & Execution
- Work closely with internal teams (design, procurement, operations) to execute orders
- Ensure timely delivery and quality standards are maintained
- Address client feedback, concerns, and queries promptly
5. CRM & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of leads, interactions, and deals in CRM
- Track sales performance, pipeline status, and account growth
- Share regular updates and reports with the management team
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent persuasion and negotiation abilities
- Proactive, self-driven, and target-oriented mindset
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively
- Good understanding of B2B sales processes
- Confidence in client-facing and in-person meetings
- Ability to identify and drive growth within existing accounts
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in B2B sales / key account management
- Experience in corporate gifting, merchandising, advertising, or related industries is a plus
