Junior Java Developer

Exciting Opportunity Alert! 🌟 HTC Global Services is hiring Junior Java Developers for one of our premium projects at Chennai, MEPZ Location.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with teams to design and architect scalable, robust, and secure solutions.
• Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality code.
• Ensure applications are optimized for performance and scalability.
• Work with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle, including writing complex queries and optimizing performance.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services into Java applications.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and propose improvements to the existing system architecture.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline setup and deployment automation.
• Involve in client meeting, understand issue/requirements, deploy application & support users(client) in testing the application.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Core Java, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Data, etc.).
• Familiarity with RESTful Web Services.
• Experience with JPA/Hibernate for database access and ORM.
• Proficiency in working with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with version control tools like SVN & Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in working in an Agile development environment.
