Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and JEE technologies.
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
• Develop robust business logic and integrate with databases and third-party systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in system design, code reviews, and technical discussions.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve production defects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure application security, scalability, and high availability.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and delivery.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
• Strong expertise in Java, JEE (Servlets, JSP, JDBC), and Core Java.
• Extensive experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with Hibernate/JPA and ORM frameworks.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Experience with Maven or Gradle build tools.
• Strong understanding of Git and version control systems.
• Familiarity with application servers such as Tomcat, JBoss, or WebSphere.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
• Good understanding of design patterns, OOP principles, and secure coding practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Splunk, ELK, or Prometheus.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
