Job Description

Job Title: Junior Java Developer

Location: Remote (India)

Experience: 0–2 Years (Freshers Welcome)

About The Role

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Junior Java Developer to join our remote engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in building scalable applications, working with modern technologies, and collaborating in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Java code
  • Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of applications
  • Debug and resolve technical issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, QA, product managers)
  • Participate in code reviews and learn best coding practices
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical knowledge)
  • Strong understanding of Core Java concepts (OOPs, Collections, Exception Handling)
  • Basic knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
  • Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
  • Understanding of frameworks like Spring or Spring Boot is an advantage
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and willingness to learn

Eligibility

  • Freshers with relevant projects/internships are encouraged to apply
  • Candidates with up to 2 years of experience are also welcome

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs
  • Exposure to Git or other version control systems
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
