Role Description
This is an on-site internship role for a Junior Business Development Executive Intern (IT Sales), based in Ahmedabad.
The intern will focus on lead generation, client outreach, and project bidding on freelancing platforms to support the company’s international business development efforts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying potential projects on platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, PeoplePerHour, and Guru
- Writing customized proposals and submitting bids for web and mobile development projects
- Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities
- Generating leads through LinkedIn and other online channels
- Assisting in communication with international clients
- Supporting proposal preparation and sales documentation
- Maintaining lead data and tracking opportunities
- Collaborating with the sales and technical teams to prepare solutions for client requirements
The intern will gain hands-on experience in IT sales, freelancing platforms, and international client acquisition.
Qualifications
- Experience in New Business Development and Lead Generation to identify and pursue potential clients
- Strong skills in Business and Account Management to oversee and support client relationships
- Effective Communication skills to articulate ideas, present proposals, and maintain professional interactions with clients
- Ability to adapt quickly, work as part of a team, and show initiative in a tech-focused sales environment
- Familiarity with IT services, software development processes, or sales-related tools and platforms is a plus
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Management, Marketing, IT, or a related field
Stipend: Based on Interview + Performance Incentives
