Role Overview

The Junior Associate – HR will support day-to-day Human Resources operations, including recruitment coordination, HR administration, compliance support, and employee assistance. This role is suitable for early-career HR professionals with foundational HR knowledge who are available to join immediately and are seeking structured exposure in a corporate environment.


Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding Support

  • Assist in recruitment activities such as job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate coordination.
  • Support onboarding processes and ensure completion of joining documentation and formalities.

2. HR Operations & Payroll Support

  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, offer letters, and contracts.
  • Update HRMS, attendance, and leave records on a regular basis.
  • Provide payroll-related inputs, including attendance, leaves, new joiners, and exits.
  • Assist with exit formalities and documentation.

3. Compliance & HR Governance

  • Demonstrate foundational knowledge of HR compliance and statutory processes, including PF, ESIC, POSH, and labour-related documentation.
  • Support maintenance of compliance records, statutory filings, and audit documentation under guidance.
  • Ensure confidentiality and ethical handling of employee information.

4. Employee Support

  • Act as a point of contact for routine employee HR queries.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and internal HR communications.
  • Assist in maintaining a professional and positive workplace environment.

5. Performance & Learning Support

  • Assist in coordinating performance management cycles and appraisal documentation.
  • Support learning and development initiatives, including training coordination and record maintenance.


Qualifications & Skills

  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, or HR Generalist role
  • Basic understanding of HR principles, recruitment lifecycle, and payroll concepts
  • Foundational awareness of statutory compliance and HR governance
  • Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets; HRMS exposure preferred
  • Degree or relevant work experience in Human Resources
