Role Description The Junior Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based at our Rajkot facility. The person in this role will support day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable activities. Responsibilities include preparing basic financial reports, reconciling bank statements, supporting invoice processing, and helping ensure compliance with internal controls and relevant accounting standards. The Junior Accountant will collaborate with senior accounting team members, coordinate with other departments for accurate data collection, and assist during audits and month-end closing activities.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess core accounting skills such as journal entry posting, ledger maintenance, and basic financial statement understanding.
  • Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and MS Office tools (especially Excel for spreadsheets, reports, and reconciliations).
  • Candidates should possess strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Candidates should possess knowledge of GST, TDS, and other basic taxation and compliance requirements relevant to Indian accounting practices.
  • Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with finance colleagues, auditors, and other internal teams.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred; relevant internships or 1–2 years of experience in an accounting role will be an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in Rajkot, manage multiple tasks, and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
