Quality Control Officer - FMCG

Job Summary

The Quality Control Officer is responsible for assisting in maintaining product quality and food safety standards throughout the manufacturing process. The role involves conducting quality inspections, laboratory testing, documentation, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and company quality management systems. This position is suitable for fresh graduates who are eager to build a career in the food manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Perform routine laboratory tests and record test results accurately.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards.
• Maintain quality records, reports, and inspection documents.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, and Food Safety Management System (FSMS) requirements.
• Identify quality issues and report non-conformities to the supervisor.
• Support internal quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure proper hygiene, sanitation, and food safety practices are followed in the production area.
• Coordinate with Production and Warehouse teams to maintain quality standards.
• Perform other quality-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Engineering, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Dairy Technology, Nutrition, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of food quality control, laboratory practices, and food safety standards.
• Understanding of GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, and FSMS will be an advantage.
• Good analytical, observation, and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment and rotational shifts if required.
