Job Title: Junior Accountant – Bookkeeping (Night Shift)

Job Location: Tirunelveli / Nagercoil

Shift: Night Shift (US Time Zone)

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant with strong bookkeeping experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in maintaining financial records, processing accounting transactions, and supporting day-to-day accounting activities. This position requires working during US business hours (Night Shift).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping activities.
• Record and maintain financial transactions accurately.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Prepare accounting reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
• Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely completion of accounting tasks.
• Follow company accounting policies and maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience is mandatory.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books, or similar is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bookkeeping experience is required.
• Must be willing to work Night Shift (US Time Zone).
• Must be willing to work from the office in Tirunelveli or Nagercoil.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of US accounting practices is an added advantage.
