Junior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Issuing outgoing invoices, keep in touch with the departments within the group and subcontractors
• Review, verify, and book incoming invoices, expense reports, and other accounting documents
• Daily booking of bank statements
• Accounts receivable management, contact with customers in case of not paid invoices
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial information flow
• Support the Chief Accountant in closing activities
• Assist in audits by preparing required documentation and responding to auditor queries
• Participate in improving accounting processes and workflows, and automation of processes

Requirements

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• University/College degree in accounting and/or chartered certified accountant qualification
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience in accounting
• Hungarian Accounting Standard knowledge
• Strong computer skills including MS Office applications (MS Excel)
