SEO Analyst (B2B Sales & Marketing Agency)

Role Overview

We are looking for an SEO Analyst with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in SEO, preferably within B2B or SaaS environments.


The ideal candidate has strong core SEO fundamentals and is eager to work on modern search optimization strategies, including evolving search ecosystems and digital visibility frameworks. You should be analytical, execution-focused, and comfortable working in a performance-driven agency environment.


You will support strategic SEO initiatives while taking ownership of implementation, tracking, and optimization to drive measurable growth.


Key Responsibilities

Core SEO Execution

  • Conduct in-depth keyword research aligned with ICPs, buyer journeys, and business goals.


  • Execute on-page SEO including meta optimization, internal linking, header structures, schema basics, and content alignment.


  • Support off-page SEO initiatives including outreach and authority-building activities.


  • Maintain SEO trackers and execution roadmaps.


Technical SEO Support

  • Conduct technical audits covering crawlability, indexing, site architecture, page speed, and Core Web Vitals.


  • Identify technical gaps and coordinate with developers for implementation.


  • Support structured data implementation and snippet optimization.


  • Ensure SEO best practices are followed during website updates and content publishing.


Modern Search & Digital Presence Optimization

  • Assist in implementing strategies related to Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and Answer EngineOptimization (AEO).


  • Support initiatives aimed at improving visibility across evolving AI-driven and answer-based search environments.


  • Monitor brand mentions, entity visibility, and search ecosystem shifts.


  • Identify relevant community conversations, forums, and dark social opportunities that can drive referral traffic and search demand signals.


Content & Intent Alignment

  • Map keywords to search intent and buyer stages.


  • Work closely with content teams to ensure SEO-led content planning and optimization.


  • Support topic clustering and pillar page development strategies.


  • Identify content gaps based on competitor and SERP analysis.


Performance Tracking & KPI Measurement

  • Track performance using tools such as:


  • SEMrush


  • Google Search Console


  • GA4


  • Screaming Frog


  • HubSpot


  • Looker Studio


  • Monitor KPIs including:


  • Organic traffic growth


  • Keyword ranking improvements


  • Engagement metrics


  • Conversion rates


  • Organic lead generation


  • Prepare performance reports with actionable insights.


  • Connect SEO performance to marketing and pipeline outcomes wherever possible.


Collaboration & Agency Execution

  • Work closely with content, design, performance marketing, and development teams.


  • Support senior SEO managers in client deliverables.


  • Participate in internal strategy discussions.


  • Operate efficiently in a multi-client B2B agency environment.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 2–4 years of hands-on SEO experience (B2B/SaaS preferred).


  • Strong understanding of technical, on-page, and off-page SEO fundamentals.


  • Familiarity with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog.


  • Basic understanding of CRM platforms like HubSpot is a plus.


  • Understanding of user behavior, search intent, and conversion pathways.


  • Basic knowledge of HTML, WordPress, and website structure.


  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.


  • Ability to manage tasks across multiple projects and meet deadlines.


  • Understanding of performance marketing fundamentals is an added advantage.
