Job Welder

Location: D19 & 20, 1st Phase, Adityapur Industrial Area, Near Prabhat Khabar, Jamshedpur 832109

Reports To: Production Manager / Shop Floor Supervisor

• Perform welding operations on automotive components using MIG, welding processes as per engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Prepare, align, and position materials and components before welding to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, selecting appropriate welding parameters for different materials and joint types.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and fabrication specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance of welding equipment and ensure proper handling of tools and consumables.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to achieve production targets while maintaining safety, quality, and 5S standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following company safety procedures and wearing appropriate PPE.

• Minimum requirement: ITI in Welder, or a related trade; Diploma holders are also welcome to apply.
• Experience in MIG welding in an automotive or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, welding symbols, and fabrication specifications.
• Knowledge of welding techniques, material properties, joint preparation, and welding consumables.
• Familiarity with measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, measuring tapes, gauges, and weld inspection tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and workplace safety.
• Willingness to work full-time on-site in Adityapur Industrial Area and in shifts, if required.
