JOB TITLE : Jewellery Consultant

LOCATION : This is a full-time, on-site role for Raipur, Chhattisgarh

REPORTS TO: Store Manager

JOB OVERVIEW :

The Jewellery Consultant is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, assisting customers in selecting jewellery, achieving sales targets, and maintaining strong client relationships. The role requires strong product knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for luxury retail.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS :

1. Sales & Revenue Management

• Achieve individual monthly and annual sales targets.
• Assist customers in selecting jewellery based on their preferences, occasion, and budget.
• Promote high-value collections such as gold, diamond, jadau, and gemstone jewellery.
• Maximize average bill value through effective upselling and cross-selling.
• Maintain accurate billing and ensure smooth sales transactions.

2. Customer Experience

• Provide exceptional and personalized customer service aligned with luxury brand standards.
• Build strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat purchases.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable jewellery collections.
• Handle customer queries and concerns professionally.
• Maintain client database and follow up with customers for new collections and special occasions.

3. Product Knowledge

• Maintain strong knowledge of gold, diamond, and precious stone jewellery.
• Explain product features, designs, purity, and pricing to customers clearly.
• Stay updated with new collections, designs, and jewellery trends.
• Assist customers with customization requests when required.

4. Store Operations

• Maintain showroom cleanliness and ensure proper display of jewellery.
• Follow store policies and procedures for jewellery handling and security.
• Assist in visual merchandising and maintaining attractive displays.
• Support store opening and closing procedures.

5. Inventory Support

• Assist in stock management and inventory tracking.
• Ensure proper handling of jewellery pieces during display and sales.
• Support stock audits and reconciliation when required.
• Coordinate with Store Manager for stock replenishment.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLSETS REQUIRED :

• Graduate in any discipline (Retail or Jewellery background preferred).
• 2–5 years of experience in jewellery or luxury retail sales.
• Good knowledge of gold, diamond, and precious jewellery preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build strong customer relationships.
