Primary Job Title (optimized): Java Developer — On-site (India)

About The Opportunity

We are hiring an experienced Java Developer to join client teams building scalable backend systems for enterprise applications. This is an on-site role based in India; you will work closely with product owners, QA, and DevOps to deliver robust, high-performance services that power mission-critical workflows.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot following clean code and SOLID principles.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs, ensuring secure, well-documented and versioned interfaces for internal and external consumers.
• Work on data persistence using Hibernate/JPA and relational databases; optimise queries and schema for performance.
• Implement and maintain microservices, including service-to-service communication, resilience patterns and distributed tracing.
• Collaborate with QA and DevOps to automate builds, CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows; support production troubleshooting and incident resolution.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews and drive continuous improvement in architecture and engineering practices.

Additional Qualifications: Strong candidates will have a relevant undergraduate degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent and prior experience working on on-site enterprise Java projects. Proven track record of delivering backend features end-to-end and collaborating in agile teams is expected.
