About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on IT & Systems Analyst to join our growing manufacturing business in Warrington.

You’ll play a key part in supporting day-to-day IT operations while contributing to system improvement initiatives across infrastructure, ERP, reporting capability, and cyber security maturity (including CMMC preparation)

If you have 3–5 years’ experience and want broader technical responsibility across infrastructure, business systems and security, this is an excellent opportunity to step up.

You’ll support operational stability while helping drive meaningful improvements in systems and security.

What You’ll Be Doing

IT Operations & User Support

• Provide 1st and 2nd line support across office and manufacturing environments
• Support PCs, laptops, mobile devices and shop-floor systems
• Manage onboarding/offboarding and access control
• Maintain asset registers and device lifecycle
• Log, prioritise and resolve incidents effectively

Infrastructure & Systems

• Support virtualised server environment (VMware & Hyper-V)
• Administer Active Directory and Microsoft 365
• Support networking and system resilience
• Assist with backup, monitoring and infrastructure improvements

ERP & Business Systems

• Provide structured support for ERP systems
• Assist with system enhancements, testing and documentation
• Support process improvement initiatives
• Contribute to reporting and BI development

Cyber Security & Audit

• Monitor endpoint protection and security alerts
• Maintain MFA, patching and access controls
• Support vulnerability reduction initiatives
• Assist with CMMC-aligned control implementation
• Contribute to audit readiness and documentation

What We’re Looking For

Essential

• 3–5 years’ experience in IT support or systems roles
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
• Experience supporting virtualised environments
• Solid networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
• Experience supporting business-critical systems
• Structured troubleshooting and documentation approach
• Ability to balance BAU support with project work

Desirable

• Experience with ERP systems
• Exposure to reporting / BI tools
• Awareness of security frameworks (Cyber Essentials, NIST, ISO 27001, CMMC)
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
