Educational Qualification:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience or certifications in the related field

Work Experience: 2–4 years of experience in IT administration or network administration. Candidates with CCNA certification may be considered even with less experience.

Role Description:

We are looking for an IT Administrator with strong networking knowledge to manage and support the organization’s IT infrastructure. The role involves maintaining network systems, troubleshooting issues, supporting employees with IT-related requests, and ensuring the security and performance of the IT environment. Candidates with CCNA certification and hands-on networking experience are highly preferred.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Manage and maintain the organisation’s network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and access points.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Configure and maintain LAN, WAN, and VPN connections.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and system access.
• Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and IT equipment.
• Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Ensure network security and system updates are properly implemented.
• Work with vendors and service providers for IT infrastructure support.
• Maintain documentation of IT systems, network configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and asset management.
  
  

Desirable Skills & Certifications:

• Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching.
• Experience managing routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Basic understanding of network security and monitoring tools.
• Experience in troubleshooting network and system issues.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki network solutions.
• Experience managing FortiGate firewalls (configuration, policies, VPN, security rules).
• Familiarity with Zscaler cloud security platforms (ZIA/ZPA) will be an added advantage. CCNA certification is highly preferred.
