iOS Developer – Hybrid (UK)

We are currently seeking an experienced iOS Developer to join a high-profile digital transformation programme within a leading UK financial services organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of customer-facing mobile applications used by millions of users, working within a modern engineering environment that embraces Agile delivery, DevOps practices, and cloud-native technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality native iOS applications.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, architects, and engineering teams to deliver new features and enhancements.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and performance issues.
• Support the delivery of secure, scalable, and resilient mobile solutions.
• Contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions, and engineering standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience developing native iOS applications.
• Excellent knowledge of Swift and modern iOS development practices.
• Experience with SwiftUI and/or UIKit.
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture patterns such as MVVM.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and integrating backend services.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and automated testing.
• Familiarity with Git-based source control and Agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Desirable Experience

• Experience working within highly regulated environments such as financial services.
• Exposure to cloud technologies and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience with accessibility standards and mobile security best practices.
• Knowledge of reactive programming frameworks such as Combine.
• Experience developing applications at enterprise scale.
