Position : AS400 Developer

Experience : 6 to 8 Years

Location : Chennai / Pune / Hyderabad

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain AS400 applications.
  • Write and optimize RPG, CL, and SQL code for effective data processing.
  • Collaborate with business analysts to gather system requirements.
  • Design and implement efficient database queries and updates.
  • Debug and troubleshoot existing applications as needed.
  • Create technical documentation for new and existing systems.
  • Perform system testing and user acceptance testing.
  • Monitor application performance and implement improvements.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Provide technical support to end-users and other team members.
  • Integrate AS400 applications with other enterprise systems.
  • Ensure security compliance of AS400 applications.
  • Assist in system upgrades and migrations as necessary.
  • Collaborate with project teams to deliver on time and within budget.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and best practices in AS400 development.
